PERLA

Office Administrator/Insurance Coordinator
Perla assisted Dr. Flint with the opening of the practice, August 2015 and her current role is office manager and insurance specialist. Perla was born in Monterrey, Mexico and moved to Austin at an early age and is very fluent in Spanish. Perla has worked in the medical field for over 11 years before transitioning to the dental field. Her knowledge of billing and coding makes her a valuable member of the team along with her compassionate and understanding nature. Perla also ensures all aspects of the practice are flowing smoothly.

Perla enjoys cooking, dancing, running outdoors and spending time with her husband, Jr., and their three beautiful children.

NAHUT

Lead Surgical Assistant
Nahut was born in California and moved to Austin in 2008. She joined Oral Surgery Specialists of Austin in February 2016 and is a great asset to our team. Nahut has been in the dental field for over 13 years; received her RDA certificate in 2008 and is a highly trained surgical assistant. She stays current with continuing dental education classes, as well. Nahut is fluent in Spanish and loves helping our Spanish speaking patients feel comfortable and at ease.

Nahut enjoys hiking, Austin’s amazing nightlife and spending time with her fur baby, Max.

ROBERT

Surgical Assistant
Robert is a native Austinite and has been an active part of the dental field for the past 8 years. He is the most recent member of the Oral Surgery Specialists of Austin team since August 2016. Robert stays current with continuing dental education classes, he received his RDA certificate in 2008, preferring oral surgery over general dentistry and is fluent in Spanish, as well. Roberts compassionate and excellent patient care is quick to put patients at ease.

Robert enjoys paintball, movie watching and spending time with his lovely wife, Marzia, and their fur baby, Moose.

Marleh

Surgical Assistant
Marleh was born and raised in San Marcos Texas. She is a Registered Dental Assistant/Surgical Assistant that prides herself on providing a comforting experience for each patient. She joined our practice March of 2022. Fluent in Spanish and loves being able to bridge the common communication barrier.

Outside of work you can find her spending her time with her five feline babies. They are her pride and joy. She enjoys being active and is regularly at the gym.

Ashley

Treatment Coordinator
Ashley was born and raised in Austin Texas. She joined Oral Surgery Specialist of Austin in August 2020 and has been in the dental field for 5 years. She’s passionate about helping patients through every step of the way, by answering any questions they may have regarding their treatment plans and to ensure that they receive the best care possible.

Aside from work, Ashley loves spending time with her daughter. She also enjoys Austin’s night life, traveling, reading books, making memories with family and friends.

Valeria

Insurance Coordinator/Front Desk
Valeria was born in Monterrey, Mexico and moved to Austin in 2009. She has been in the dental field since 2020. Valeria joined OSS of Austin in 2022. Her outgoing and loud personality is one of the first you will encounter in our office. She is here to help you with all of your insurance questions as well as scheduling your appointments. Valeria is fluent in Spanish and enjoys learning new things every chance she gets.

Valeria enjoys watching her favorite series Friends, next to her fur baby Bruno. Valeria also enjoys traveling and exploring new places around the country.
