Things You Should Know About InvisalignCrooked teeth are a common problem among people. We all want to be confident with our teeth and our smile. A lot of people are very self-conscious about wearing braces because of the way they appear. Invisalign is an alternative to braces that is clear and corrects teeth alignment. We are going to discuss some of the Invisalign hacks.

Things to keep in mind

Invisalign is clear plastic and is used the same way as braces. They are preferred because they are virtually invisible. They are comfortable to wear. They are also removable for better eating and cleaning. Invisalign needs to be kept on for as long as possible. 22 hours minimum for Invisalign to work faster and better. They should be removed when necessary, during eating and brushing. Keeping them on allows them to work better and you'll be more comfortable with them with time.

Invisalign has a general effect on speech. You will need to adjust the way you speak when you have them on. It is natural and should not appear problematic. The length in which each person wears Invisalign differs. You cannot and should not compare your progress with other people. In an adult, it can last up to a year. Invisalign works faster than braces. Most people who have used Invisalign have said they saw progress in months. The Invisalign treatment has different trays to wear as you get better.

Invisalign use requires a lot of brushing and flossing. Flossing especially as it does not occur habitually should be repeated. The teeth and gums should be kept clean to prevent the accumulation of plaque. The cleanliness also allows the Invisalign to fit as they should without getting stuck. Another requirement is to keep the Invisalign retainers clean. They should be cleaned daily with a toothbrush and toothpaste. Cleaning should be easy as it can be done at the same time as brushing teeth.
